It is the beauty that is this moment that reminds me of all that is important. My friend, simply pursuing his own dreams, has brought friends back together united in one single purpose. And the nostalgia of it hit me hard about ten minutes ago. Then I had a couple shots of tequila, and had to remind myself I was here supporting a friend, a true friend. I wasn't here for the rest of the crowd that just so happened to be a part of my life so many years ago. |
This. This is what it is to be human. To feel. To breathe. To kick. To scream. To love and lose. And to understand. To accept. And its so hard, so overwhelming, the constant pushing and pulling of every life direction, your mind shouting out to your heart, all the while your heart is drowning in a pool of excitement and confusion, all to the point that sometimes you can't feel at all, and you can't breathe, and you can't understand no matter how hard you keep trying; but then you cry, and that's human too. |
